In New York, there’s always something to smell, whether it’s the leather of the taxi cabs, the green from Central Park, or the expensive smells coming out from the department stores on Fifth Avenue.
Two parfumeurs, Le Labo and Atelier Cologne, are taking us out of New York and transporting us all over the world with their unique scents. Both are in trendy Nolita and Elizabeth Street is shaping up to be the BEST SMELLING STREET in NYC!
Le Labo’s concept is all about freedom, originality, uniqueness, and individuality. Edouard and Fabrice, both young Frenchmen, set up their Nolita boutique and laboratory where they compound perfumes by hand and only on demand.
Le Labo perfumes are not premade or prepackaged; once you place your order, the oils are compounded and then the bottle is labeled with your name and packaged for you. There are 10 fragrances currently made by Le Labo from the instant classic ROSE and NEROLI to the mysterious and undefinable (yet completely compelling) OUD and LABDANUM.
